Plate hiding

So what's this thing about not showing number plates then?

Just curious, I mean anyone can see your plate when the car is parked in the street, am I missing something? does big brother browse the forums?

I suppose if you post your number plate and your location it would make it easier for a light fingered up-to-no-gooder to find and steal you car. Is this the only reason?

Cos if they see your plate outside your house then it doesn't really matter :P I only do mine because it looks more interesting :)

Some insurance companys do look in modified car mags and forums because believe it or not, not everyone submits all their modifications!
