Was at my mum's this morning and finding she was out was at a bit of a loose end....

Next thing mum comes home and finds me with the bonnet up cleaning the engine bay with a sponge:eek:

WTF!!!!

I know I'm getting quite into this car...but....

I'm beginning to think I might need professional help;)

So...

What's the best way of tackling this job?? Sponge and hot water...???

I'm using engine cleaner, any of you bikers out there will know what this is as its used for getting the sh!t off the back wheel that the chain thows off:D

Any other tips as I'm loosing flesh off my fingers and they are now very dirty and am having trouble getting the sh!t off them too...even with swaffegga or what ever its called:rolleyes:

I believe Jibber seems to be the font of all knowledge on this subject;)

Wax and a cotton bud.:D

Seriously, I have been waxing under there for three weeks now (not the engine though:eek: ) with cloths and cotton buds. I take off what I can and she is now shining. :p :D

And for those of you that are thinking that I have lost the plot, the answer is no I haven't.;)

I use Autoglym super resin polish and I have found that it just dissolves all oil and grease. Takes no effort to clean at all.:)
