No no, you were right first time! The second round of pics are the 'taking it to bits stage'. Colour code is LP2, which is Midnight Purple 1.
Jonny said he is proud of the car now, but he has spent his own time for no money doing this in his lunchtime and after work so its not really a realistic price for all the work that has gone in to it. The car is yet to be built back up, though hopefully this will go quicker than the stripping as all those old bolts that hadn't been undone for years were obviously stubborn! Also there was a lot of prep work needed due to little spot dents and the bigger one in the rear quarter when some T!*T did a hit and run to leave me a nice dent. Its all nice and smooth now though!
It really is a top notch job though, and if you wanted to book your car in to be done for regular garage rates it would cost a shedload more.
Excelent work there, wish i had a brother who was good with cars(just a brother would help :wack: )can't wait to see it in the metal, you must be chuffed

Speak to my brother about that - I can tell you that the paint will be around £100 and thats before the prep and spraying. I suppose it depends on the detail you want to into. I dont think Jonny is in any hurry to be doing something like this anytime soon though!
That yellow Skyline lives in Pwll and I'm pretty sure its for sale.

Again, big thanks to Jonny and more or less everyone in the bodyshop at Harry Phillips, a lot of unpaid graft went into this! Its worth it though.
