Thought i'd let you all know that south wales police now have a black evo 8 undercover police car.
My brother saw it last night near j32 on the m4, it had pulled somone over and had police in red led's in the rear window and blue lights hidden at the front.
Nice to see the speed cameras are working well for them :rant:

Weve got a silver evo 7 one that patrolls west sussex.... arse bandit taunts you as well to try and catch you out, know a number of people who've been fooled into having a race with him :mad:

Also got a silver vito van, people carrier type one which confused me a bit :wack:

Slightly off topic, but South Wales police topic....

Chris expand if you like...but we were followed by a 02 reg volvo last night. He spotted us being naughty in an industrial estate and proceeded to try and intise me to race in front of a school on my way home. I didnt think it was a porker cos its an old car (is that correct?).

By now he was sandwiched between me and chris, right up my rear cavity with chris staying well back. I pulled off into my road and he pulled over!

Chris went past, didnt want us both cornered together so drove on. He then follwed Chris who doubled back, hid in the a side road, and watched him fly by.

If it wasnt the police, why such an effort to follow us, and if it was, why not pull us straight after our sideways action?!

I was under the impression that the police didn't like using Evos on the basis that their intercooler is mounted at the front of the car, so when they ram someone that increases the repair cost astronomically.

Cops can't ram cars they are chasing, criminnals have rights u know ! :mad:
Also, if a cop 'entices' u to get heavy on the pedal, for your defence, that is considered entrapment, u were 'led' or 'enticed' or 'toyed with' which leads to speeding, noting that the police can only break the speed limit if in pursuit or responding to an issue, egging u on would dismiss u if u got stopped :)

Essex police have got at least two Evo 8's (fully marked and lighted up so they are easy to spot) that are used as the high speed pursuit vehicles along the A12, A13, A127, A130, A120 etc when the police have the speed traps set up.
