Am I being synical or do you think they were more interested in arresting the victim of the crime because he said he'd done something about it rather than arresting the real villains?

In my opinion if you step onto my property and steal or cause damage all of your human rights have been revoked!

No wak your right the fuzz just aint interested in 'real crime' nowadays, If i ever catch someone breaking into my house im gonna call the police and tell em ive just been doing 32 mph in a 30 zone that should have em round in under 2 mins :rolleyes:

While away, neighbour was working in his garage, and a car skids to a stop. The male driver then sets about the female passenger - throwing things, hitting her, trying to drag her out the car by her hair...

Neighbour shouts that he is going to call the Police - except when he tries 999 the operator (just the fire/police/ambulance button monkey) had him on hold for 3 MINUTES cos there was nobody at the Police 'call centre' to take the call, despite him desperately telling the monkey what was going on.

He gave up after 3.5 minutesand said he was going to sort it himself - but the 'couple' had gone.

Do you think a cop car came screaming around to check everything was OK? nahhh - he got a phone call 30 minutes later asking why he called... good job he wasn't bleeding to death in the garage :(

We live about 2 miles from one of the biggest Police Stations in Nottingham.

SCARY.

Funny to read that.

The other day, I was driving through Beckton and noticed a kid (can't have been older than 14) waving around and pointing at passing cars (including me) what looked like a handgun.

So when I got back to the office, I phoned the Police (thought it would be funny if they sent the Armed response team and shot the sh!t) :D

And that is exactly what they did, bar shooting him. I was so disappointed. ;):rolleyes:
