T'would appear they've just confirmed that human remains found t'other day, are indeed, those of Amanda Dowler. i.e; She was murdered.

kinda obvious she would be dead though.
is it just me, or this getting to be a common thing now?
it used to be a shock when someone got stabbed...
now everything seems to be rape and child abuse... and yet the government still say the justice system works... hmmm....

From what I've read, this sort of thing is apparently no more frequent than it was 100 years ago; it's just better reported.

Doesn't alter the fact that there are some sick b@stards out there, all of whom should be put out of our misery when caught and not mollycoddled in a prison hotel at our expense.

Best thing they could do with that Soham pair, if they're found guilty, would be to release them into the care of the Soham community, who I feel sure could think of some way of rehabilitating them!!

Absolutely !!!, prison would be bad for them but I think 2.5 hours of most of the nation kicking the **** into them would be far more just & deserved. And indeed satifying.

Then a week later they should release the family liason officers into a similar situation. Worthless paedo fvcks!

Its very sad that the european charter on human rights applies equally to us law abiding citizens and those sick fvcks.
I say, the human rights should be ranked in order of importance, and if you have been proven to violate someone elses human rights, you lose all of you're rights up to those that you have violated. Torture would be highest on the list, therefore, if you are proven to torture someone, you lose your right to not be tortured. Like what the sick, sick bastids do to those kids. It would mean they could be legally reseased from the courtroom after being found guilty and the public can do what they want to them. I think the public will literally tear them limb from limb, and its not really unjust, is it? Or is it too much?

At least her parents and friends now have an answer.
Whatever your beliefs, I personally hope that her spirit, soul, essence, memory or whatever you wish to call it can rest and that her nearest/dearest may find some peace within themselves.

Without trying to sound condescending...

Your whole outlook and and reaction to these events change when you have kids of your own......

It make you think 'what if that were my child or I was the parent'

I don't let my 4 year old girl go ANYWHERE without me or her mum with her.
We're just teaching her now the people she can, and cannot go with. Unfortunately we also have to teach her that people who say 'Your mummy/daddy said you could come with me' are LYING.

Luckily she seems to have got the message and says if that happens she will run away and scream.....

Let's hope we never have to find out...

Which is whom ????

The majority of these killings are done by relatives and family friends followed closely by the childrens peers (ie Priests, swimming instructors and school janitors) ..... the last threat is of total strangers ??

So what do we tell our kids.

"Jamie, I dont want you talk to, or go anywhere with Strangers, or any of our family friends, or any of your uncles or Aunts or teachers ... actually ... only talk to me ....... try to stay away from your mum as well, she seems a little nuts today?"

I dont think there is an answer .... and punishment of these evil *******s, will not stop this sort of thing happening again .... it just makes the victims feel a little better for a short while.

What is the answer ???

Forget hanging, that is TOO nice for this bas*ards.

I say bring back Hung, Drawn and Quatered.

Any person who gets off killing or abusing children need to be taught a lesson.

If you look at stats how many perverts go to prison and then get out and continue their pervert spree. (alot. )

In this case I totally agree with the phrase "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth".

Let the wan*ers have it:mad:

Or if perverts go to prison, then I say put them with the rest of the crowds, you can imagine what happens then.

They deserve everything they get..

I'd rather go for complete castration (surgical & chemical) for paedophiles, and in proven cases of rape, perhaps being back the death penalty. But only for rape. Maybe it's wrong, but I actually see rape as being worse than murder.

Agreed. Rape stays with the victim and can haunt their entire life. Seems harsh to say tho..

As rapists and paedophiles leave D.N.A at the scene of their crimes, there can be no doubt as to who committed the crime.
In these cases I think the death penalty should be re - introduced.

No, would definitely say Murder is still the worst. Rape victims, while possibly traumatised for either a long time or for life, can still lead fruitful lives and possibly go on to accomplish great things.

did anyone see the footage of the mum beating the hell out of her 4 year old in the back seat of the car?

while i was in america it was shown as a news bullitin in almost every advert until the woman came forward and handed herself in.... and then it was on every news channel every half hour.

the americans seem to have a far more zero tolerance view than our wimpy legal system.

also, on the subject of rape/sexual assault/child abuse - also in the news in america was the damages case bought up against the fecking Minister who abused about 60 kids in his care. The church paid up millions and then they praised the minister for how he "conducted himself throughout the proceedings"?!! wft?!

Not the case. Just because 2 people have sexual intercourse (and therefore DNA can be transferred) it doesn't prove rape. And in these days of very aggressive lawyers, whose tactics are to attack the woman in court, and make her look like a total slag, it's no longer cut and dried.

The problem is that with sex/relationships/rape being emotive issues, and with such a claim being so easy to make on the spur of the moment, woman can (and do) make false accusations. And whilst victims have anonymity, the accused don't, resulting in public shaming. Unfortunately, this, combined with the fact that so few rape trials result in a conviction, means that very few true rape victims ever come forwards (it's been estimated as a single-figure percentage), while lots of men are wrongly tarred and feathered.

The whole systems' a royal f*ck-up.

Nah, I think that it's more to do with the reasons, the motivations, and the type of feelings that must be going through people's heads when they do such things. Murders (in hot, not cold blood) are generally to do with anger, which is an irrational emotion we all suffer from, from time to time. And anger makes people do crazy things, and more importantly, crazy mistakes.
Rape is not like that - it's about a human being turning into something altogether more animal, less human, less civilised, and forcing upon another human being an act of such utter horror, denigration, and degradation, that it almost makes me think that such people should not be judged as humans at all - they should be culled like mad animals.
