And there is no reserve price!! That means if I bid a fiver and no one else bids, doesn't he leagally have to sell it to me at that price? hmmmm... very tempting. But some how I don't think I'd get away with it :D

Only pre-approved bidders are allowed to bid (I tried :D ) and I bet there is no-one on the approved list.

Ah well, didn't want it anyway ;) :p

I am on the approved list. Just bid £5.50... I'll let you know!

according to what i read in the e-bay rules, if the seller doesnt give you the item once you have paid the money, they go on a black list... and as far as i know are not allowed to sell again... thats what i made of it... although i may be wrong...

remember, a couple bought a package holiday for a quid... so it can be done.

What about that Chinese guy who sold a skyline for a few quid a few months back...perhaps hes back!

the auction has closed, but it doesn't look like its been sold or anything, still showing the £4.99 price

thought there was a £5.50 bid

yeah, ebay is notorious for doing that kind of thing.

Did bid a fiver but then got contacted by the seller who is a berk to say the least.

Withdrew the bid and the auction was ceased by him after he insisted I agreed to bid to at least £7k and I gave him my feelings on the matter.
