Unfortunately, €urodrift round 1 on the 25th March has had to be moved from Haynes motor museum
We have now arranged for €urodrift round 1 to be held at Silverstone ATC.
To add to the inconvenience we also have to move the date to the following week so round 1 will now be held on the 1st April 2006.
The team at Drift UK Ltd was told at 4pm on Friday the 17th March by Haynes management that the event could not go ahead there due to a problem within their organization and that this was of no fault to Drift UK Ltd.
The DriftUK team has been working hard to try and keep round 1 and thanks to the flexibility of the management at Silverstone we are still able to run the competition albeit one week later.
The fact that the 1st April is a live racing day at the circuit means that certain restrictions will apply though:
A maximum of 30 competitors are allowed to compete, all of whom must have registered and paid to be allowed in.
Spectators must send their names to me before the 28th March or they will not be allowed in as this is a ticket day only due to Silverstone's live racing day. This includes mechanics, photographers etc.
The team at Drift UK Ltd is really sorry for this inconvenience to all but we have been very badly let down at the final hour and this has left us with very few options to work with.
