s-man, this aint gonna help you much, but, ive found nissan ins to be more than obliging with mods, to date, ive yet to be charged more for a mod. incl: exhaust, filter, s-afc (yet to be fitted),airbag removal (yet to be done) and a boost controller.
p.s. aint this in the wrong section.......:D
p.s.s. try ringing mitsi and see if they do there own schemes.

I am certain someone on here has insured with an insurance company where mods don't matter... or maybe that was on the mitsi board... I know I saw it though...

You could try Frizzell (Liverpool Victoria Insurance) on 0800 748 748.
I phoned them after Flux quoted £750 with mods declared, they came back with £581 :D they didn't seem too bothered as I reeled of the mods and they even knew what a FMIC was. Got the cert and schedule through this morning (phoned on Friday) and all the mods are listed. I asked about putting on 18" alloys and gauges and they said no extra.

Firebond classic car ins.

Do a search of my posts and youwill find the number.

Classic cars are nearly all modded so they weren't overly concerned.

Chips had a ? against them but the overall increase in premium was so little i didn't care.

Cheers
