SXOC: Lands End to John O'Groats for Charity?...

Right, from the normal chat room, there was discussion about a UK Gumball which spurted the idea about an SXOC'Ball from Lands End to John O'Groats...

The idea being a load of SX's getting together, having a meet in Scotland, then cruising down via set checkpoints and no routes planned (so you have to make your own way) down the country till you arrive at Lands End...

This could be awesome so after a few posts we have moved it here to gauge how many members would be into it?!

There was mention of getting the press involved and all sorts, I have a mate who is a professional photographer (nominated for a prestigious photography award this year) from London who would love to help out and could no doubt generate press...

Come on then, who's up for it? I don't mind helping out with organisation...

EDIT: Woops! The idea was to have this in August Bank Holiday! Oh and Charity suggested so far is Cancer Reseach, feel free to suggest others...

Maybe the winner donates the money to a charity of his/her choice?

This may be a flop already, I've just checked the dates for Bank Holiday, and it is: 26th, 27th and 28th August, and that clashes with the N'Ring Trip...
