Me and a few people off CRX-UK should be going. As it gets closer I'm sure more people will be up for it on here as word spreads.

the way its advertised will atract the stick on plastic 1.2 brigade, but i think this is what the south needs is a drag strip to RWYB, hopefully if it takes off they might have a bit more specific nights or even days(jap/american/vw/modified?) like santapod, i guess as its just startin they are open to allsorts to make up numbers. i think this could be a good thing, and its only 25 miles from me... lol

henstridge used to have an airfield too so maybe even some drifty type event could be held there, be worth a look anyways:thumbs:

as topbuzz says, to begin with the participants may not be to everyones taste, but i think that if the first few dont have good turnouts then this might not carry on.

i know pod is the best place in the country, but, its so damn far from here.
if we can get somewhere closer, to a good standard, well organised, then i think we should support it :)

i will be organising a convoy from plymouth closer to the time :thumbs:

Jus gave AP motors a call to check what the deal is with the Celtic lads and make sure they wouldnt mind us gate crashing the event! Andy is gunna get back to me and let me know if they mind us going along and how many numbers theyve got...
Andy said if theyve got alot of numbers or they dont want us there or if we'd prefer our own SXOC RR day, he'll sort it at club rates....
So its up to u guys really, we could turn up to this or sort our own out and get some numbers as to who would like to turn up????

Just got in from fitting my filter and BOV in the pitch black of night! Then had to take it for a test run, i apologise now to ever owns the red s13 parked suspiciously down the back of union street, my exhaust has a tendacy to set off alarms!:D

guys its been cancelled

High guys were sorry to announce we are going to have to cancel Saturday's street-racing event at henstridge Park.

This is due to what we consider an unreasonable request from the airfield owners that we have unlimited insurance liability. We had already secured 10 millions pounds worth of cover to protect all the interested parties which is 7 million more than we needed according to governing body who issue racing permits to many of the UK's well know circuits including Silverstone!!!

As you can imagine we are gutted because we've had such a positive response from all of you, including the local police who very much wanted to be involved and had asked in they could attend in a display and advisor manner which we of coarse would have welcomed.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of those who have supported us and to the airfield owners maybe you should make sure you fully understand what your committing to before wasting a lot of peoples time.

A Cautionary Note for all:
Gentleman's agreements only work when you're dealing with gentlemen.

We have been investigating other venues in the south west and hope to bring you exciting news very soon.

With this set back we would like to gauge if the support is still there.
