Well, when I jumpstarted one yesterday that was broken down in a garage on the way home from a RR tune-up, I think he said he had a T34(?) running 24psi. Very pretty engine bay (It's in Demon Tweeks catalouge apparently)

Still had less BHP than me though :D
My one even starts!

STILL CAN GET VERY GOOD POWER FROM AN ENGINE THAT WAS BUILT EARLY EIGHTYS AND IS ONLY 1600CC 8 VALVE.
WE HAVE ONE HERE THAT MADE 263 BHP AND HAS BEEN RECORDED AS FASTEST FRONT WHEEL DRIVE AT TEN OF THE BEST,@153.6MPH:eek:

Ow..my ears :)

Ironically, he was on the way back to Kent from Clive Athowes' garage! First Shell garage along the road to Ipswich.

He wasn't too chuffed because he'd stopped for Optimax and couldn't start again. His RR run had been aborted because he was still running a standard fuel pump (!). Car had never failed to start before and did not want to jump either. Starter was running, but not firing. He'd just spent a fortune on engine work as well :(

HT leads were too well insulated to feel a jolt through, so pulled number 3 lead and he stuck his finger in while car was turned over to make sure it was sparking ok. Car then started on 3 pots!
Humourous situation as he tried to get the HT lead hooked up while the engine was still running, while saying 'ow!' a lot :D

It all depends on the trim of the turbo, RS's and even MG Metro turbos have T3's but they all have different compressor/exhaust housings, so the best one to go for is a T3 from a car with a 2.0+ engine e.g. Saph cossie.

And to fit any T3 to any 200 you will have to adjust the manifold to accept the different mounting flange.
