Update from the Fiat Coupe Club.
FCCUK have now agreed a flat rate price of £135 with Castle Combe, as long as I can get 15 or more places booked over the 2 dates. I have 14 definites and a few possibles, so this is looking very likely, but I could do with a few of the 200SX guys confirming and/or adding to my list.
As you probably know, this is a good price for CC, a full £30 less than their standard rate, which will help towards the fuel bill . It would be good to see a few 200SXs along to either date, as there will be Coupes there on both the 21st and 17th now.
The latest list is now:
Friday 21 April 2006: (7 + 2 possibles)
Highwayman+ 2 definites & 1 possible
Fishy Dave (possible)
Flea
Jez (200SX)
156Si
Troll (147GTA)
Wednesday 17 May 2006: (7 + 3 possibles)
Highwayman
Fishy Dave (possible)
SteA200SX (possible)
Elder81 (possible - can you please confirm)
Jez (200SX)
156Si
Mike (200SX)
Cappo
Phil + Mate (SELOC)

I'm now going on the 21st of April  Depending on whether I can juggle a few things at work I may also go on the 17th May :p

I`ve registered an interest on the 17th of May
Will there be tuition available? (would be my 1st trackday, and a bit earlier than I'd want - but at that price....)
Pretty sure there is tutition
I think we need at least one more before this can be booked
Come on, its a great track for 200's
I've asked on FCCUK for you.
is it open pit?
The day will be run in sessions. Last time I went they ran 15-20 minute sessions in 3 groups, so you basically get 1 session per hour all day. The idea would be that we try to get people registered in different numbered sessions, in order that there is plenty of opportunity for passenger rides when you aren't driving .
IIRC, there are around 20-25 cars out for each session, so pretty good space available on the track. They also tend to relax the sessions in the afternoon, as people usually leave early . If it gets really quiet then they go to open pit lane .

Hope that Helps
Almost sorted .....
Just had a confirmation from Beardy, that he will be coming along on the 21st in his Focus RS, so if Jez manages to get the day off work, we are there for the 15 needed to get the £135 price :D!
I will now get in contact with Castle Combe and confirm names of everyone coming along (as listed above). Payments will then need to be made over the phone by card, but I will post details of how to do this in due course. Please don't phone the circuit up just yet!

if Jez manages to get the day off work
Just waiting for my manager to approve my leave - prob won't be an issue :)
I'm tempted by these but they are both the same week as the brands and japfest...
I'll check with APT and see if my car will be ready to go for the 17th, which i'm sure it will as it must be ready for Japfest.
Whats the latest date to let you know/book?
I suspect until they run out of places once the initial 15 have booked to confirm the £135 discouted price.
Now finalised

I still have a couple more people interested, but they can easily be added to the list if they PM me with their details :).
Payment Arrangements
Can everyone in the above lists please contact the circuit now and make their £135 (or £270 if going on both dates) payment. You need to call them on 01249 782417 or 782929 and ask for Emma Burns (nobody else there is aware of the discount, so please ensure that you confirm with her only). She will need the usual card details for payment, and will also ask for your address so that she can send you out your confirmation pack :D!
If you can't stump up the cash straight away, you have until the 10th April for the first date and 9th May for the second to cough up. I would ask, however, that you pay as soon as possible, as I don't want to be chasing people up  or find that someone loses their place because they forgot :(!
Helmet Hire
Those of you without helmets can borrow one on the day (at no cost ), just make sure that you return it, otherwise there is a £150 charge...
Can I ask each of you to post up when you have paid, so that I can keep track of things (if you'll pardon the pun !)
Phil
