Video cameras?

Why did I think I read that no timing or video equipment is allowed on track days?

If so, how do you lot get away with it?

I've got a mate with a high quality mini dv player (whatever that is :wack: ) and it would be great to use it at the upcoming Brands event.

generally video camera are allowed as long as they are appropriately mounted. can depend on the trackday organiser though. any i've been on have been fine with it:) .

timing is an absolute no-no as it invalidates the organisers insurance;)
