Go spend a few days reading the board, you'll soon get over these impure thoughts. ;)

A well know Zedder from said board described the 300zx car + driver package, as 'C*nt in a Can'.
Which I have to say is bloody funny, and at the time he said it when the board was a bit erm hostile, it was bloody right too. :D:D:D:D

Hello Mate,

If you wanna Zed go for it, living in Kent you are in the land of zed luxury.

My mechanic, twice UK Nissan Mechanic of the year lives there, and he runs a Z as well and the main and the cheapest 2nd hand supplier of Z parts lives there as well. And he was for a while tech lecturer for renault UK as well.

So forget about people putting you off Zeds, they usually live in the sticks.

Yeah the main UK board for Z's is tempermental, but there are some good guys on it, and it has improved since the swearometer has been installed. There are many other boards for the Z so go for it.

I know of a 380 BHP z Uk manual, classic insurance avail on UK z's as well for 7k, good car seen it meself!

If u can afford it do it. I would expect the running costs to be at least 1.5 times that of an S13.

Nice cars.

I wanted one till a guy at crail showed me under the bonnet

He's had to replace two clutches (£500 inc fitting) and something else (head skim maybe) that cost 2k including all the work!

But I still want one too  ;)

The trouble with zeds is **** mechanics and **** advice, the forum members will give you all the advice you need, what after market parts are best etc,.

There is no way head work costs 2 grand unless you have got enough money to go to a Nissan Dealer, or you are getting it tuned. An engine rebuild parts and labour is 2 grand!

The clutches will go if you don't get the proper after market one, all I can think is the guy had uprated the BHP and not fitted an after market clutch!

There are loads of **** mechanics out there, who will say they can fix it and take your money and do a crap job, but whats new!

The zed is an expensive car to run, but it is a supercar and the performance is out of this world, they are cheap to get to 350 BHP, filter zorst chip, mileage 20 mpg.If you get a uk one you can get classic car insurance, £3-400 a year if you're old enough.

Parts you can plenty 2nd hand or get from America on the net pretty cheap!

T25's?how poo,so they run about 9 psi stock then?Trouble is,i've spent nigh on £3000 in 6months on my 200 getting it to look the way i want it.BUT there is no substitute for cubes-3000cc seems enough for me:D:D:D:D
