View Full Version : Need a local-ish lockup

Does anyone know where I can find out if there are any local lockups going? I need to rent one for a few weeks, maybe months, to strip my 200.
Phill is on the case, but just in case anyone knows of any in the area - could you post up any ideas here please.

I guess anywhere in South Wales is ok, but I'd prefer it to be in the Mid Glamorgan/West Glamorgan area - anywhere like Aberdare, Merthyr, Pontypridd, Neath, Swansea, maybe Cardiff.

Cheers,
Jon

The south wales 200sx stripping crew aka team stealth can reduce a car to it's component parts in well under a day :nod:I was thinking more of keeping it in the garage/lockup and stripping the bits as and when the requests come in, but thinking about it, if I stripped the car completely and stored the parts in my own garage it would make things a lot easier (ie. I could just go to the garage when someone wants a part, find it, and just throw it in the post).
Where do team stealth operate? How much does it normally cost? Know of a garage that I can keep the car in for one day in order for them to strip it?

Cheers :)
Jon

team stealth generally operate in the bargoed cardiff and merthyr areas  but the main scrapping area is merthyr :nod:the charge is negotiable but normally includes every bastid fuse in the car :wack:and a few little nick nacks and also 2 big mac meals each except for the munchkin who only wants one :wack:

OK then, 5 hours to remove all the interior, all the front end panels (including headlights) engine wiring loom, engine, gearbox and prop. We left the rest as we wanted to move the car :wack:

I may have found somewhere to strip it, its an old scrap yard (in Neath Abbey which I think my step dad still has the keys for have to check on that!!! I am going on my mums word!!)
We dont have an engine crane.

When would be convenient for everyone?
