Santa Pod

Hoping to head to Santa Pod at the weekend. Never been before, just wondering whats its like to get to. Can I expect long queues on the approaches or does the traffic usually run smoothly.
Bear in mind I probably wont get there till late morning on Sunday.

It depends what's on and how many other people are going, it's in the countryside so the only traffic you should see will be going to the same place as you.

Dcee, I might well be there on sunday as its only up the road from me, will you be running?

I'll be there on the Sunday. I normally arrive about 10.30-11, the only traffic will be normal Sunday drivers once you get off the motorway, and then a 20-30minute queue once you get to the circuit. It's way out in the sticks, so it's all very narrow lanes leading up to it, but even with lots of cars on their way there it still keeps rolling at 40mph or so.

theres actually ****e loads of road works so the speed limit is 40 anyway but often doesnt get anywhere near that speed so be aware!
