Tracksport are running a driftday at oulton park if anyones interested in joining me for a giggle :) went to the last one and it was really cool 125 for the full day and then summit for the half day (can't remember) 20 quid for additional driver and a tenner for a passenger

i'm gonna bump this too because it's a great way to learn how to 'drift.'

the track is wet and dirty so it doesn't ruin your tyres, the run off is plenty and there hasn't been any damanged cars at all in 6 events.

it's a great way to learn how to control the car sideways and link drift and everyone there is in the same boat, all learning and all in silly cars, there was a volvo estate at the last one!!!

plus there's only 14 that have booked so far for the day and the max is 20 places so there's loads of time on track!

nuff said :) really is ideal for starting out and mitto and some other drifty types are always on hand to help !

PMSL ! no I gotta give mitto lots of dues because he spent a good deal of time with everybody (although he did home in on mine to thrash the tits off lol). I'm hoping he's bringing his 200 501 458 346 bhp machine to this one ! but I've not heard anything as he's been really quiet on his build.

Hi Dave,

I was a Oulton Park a fortnight ago, watchign some friends on a trackday there. My 4 year old lad was smiling all week after seeing soem of the cars, so keep an eye out for me as I'm only 20 miles away so might pop along and watch this !

P.S. Is it on the main track, fosters, international, or on one of the rally tarmac circuits etc ?

If you have a tenner can get you signed on as a passenger mate. Its on the rally circuit as you go in on the right.

Im only down the road from Oulton at my parents house at the mo too :(

Hope hes ok if there was an accident. How did the day go, anyone got any pics?

Day was fab, I dunno about pics I musta waved one handed at about 8 cameras but I've yet to see any pics :)
