:( I am trying to get a picture into my sig. I have searched and found out the principle behind this before posting for help.

I need to host the picture on a website or something then put the address to get to the picture between things saying img inside these thingies [ & ]

I just about get this. However I have spent the last hour trying to figure out how the frig I get a picture onto the web? All the sites I go to seem to want to charge me to do this :( Do I really need to pay (if so I won't bother)

I know there are IT people here so can anyone help as I'm getting fed up now

The pic should be attached by the way if anyone is feeling perticularly generous (bored) and can host it somewhere for me??

:) :) :)

I done it! All by myself too :) :)

IT may be hard but figuring out how to do something after several hours, having started off knowing absolutley nothing, is rather satisfying :)

Right, which of you IT lot is gonna offer me a job then  ;)

I'm rather chuffed at having sorted this out in case I haven't made that clear :D

How to get a pic in my signature. It took me ages to figure out how to do it as you can't post it the same way as you do on a thread :o

Probably dead simple to most other people but I was quite chuffed at figuring it out.

Don't tell me I'm the only one who can see the picture in my sig??

BTW am I the only one that has noticed how dodgy the title of this thread reads?

Why is it so hard? I am a pillock sometimes aren't I

Didn’t you have to do this to get the little bouncy man in your sig Erebos? Anyway, this is how I solved my IT problem:

Join www.imagestation.com then you can up load any picture you want. Takes about 3-4 minutes to fill out all the relevant forms.

Once you have uploaded the picture then you can right click on it and select properties. You will see a URL address for your picture.

Copy or write down the URL address and bung it between [.img.] (without the dots) and [./img.] (without the dots) and put that lot where ever you want in you sig, by going into the User cp menu.

Easy init, only took me 2 or 3 hours :( :o

BTW thanks AshT_200, just glad that picture is not from closer up so you can't see my car's 'freckles' ;)

oh, yes thats how to put piccies in there, I just wondered where you were hosting them (without costing anything).

I remember reading a thread on imagestation a bit back, now you mention it:rolleyes:

Sorry, my short term memory aint what it used to be....well, what I can remember of it, my long term memory is shot at too:D

Dai boy, you need to host the picture somewhere so that it has a URL address. If you e-mail it to me I will post it on my imagestation account for you if you want :) and then tell you the URL so you can put it in your sig :)
