One of the better rated ones at the moment is the Fuji Finepix 2800
which can be had fromInternet Cameras Direct (http://www.internetcamerasdirect.co.uk/fuji-finepix-2800-deals.htm) for £270 delivered.
Depends on what you need but Nikon CoolPix is supposedly v.good also. Should be able to get for about £170
When I looked around I came to the conclusion that:
JESSOPs was as cheap as all the web sites (once postage was included)
and they have as good a selection.
Conclusion - I bought from Jessops.
:)
or for those 007 moments

Be careful, look at the cost of extras, like extra memeory cards and rechargable batteries and chargers. Sometimes the cheaper camera has the more expensive goodies that u will want. So hunt around. Get a camera with as many pixels as poss.

Amazon co uk
Like Dave_S14 said go with the Fuji Finepix 2800, I've got the Finepix 2300 and I'm well happy with that, I buy the 2800 in work and their a good size, great quality pic and they also take about 20 secs of video.
:D
cheers for that peeps, the one im after in particular is the kodak DX4330, has 3.1m pixels, 1.8" hybrid display that can be used in direct sunlight, 3x optical zoom/3.3x advanced digital zoom, 16mb internal memory + expansion slot, easy share, so all photos can be downloaded/printed at the touch of a button, and it has video with sound (only hold back is the limit of the memory!) + other stuff, whaddya think? seems ok to me, not into cameras that much, but they can be handy, i just like my gadgets :D , no doubt another one that will collect dust, lol
cheers,
leon.

Try www.digital-depot.co.uk. I bought an Olympus 2100 UZ from there. 2.1Mp 10xoptical zoom with Image stabiliser. Excellent price and a good range of factory refurb cameras as well.
Cheers, Rob.

That should of course be www.digital-depot.co.uk without the full stop at the end.
Cheers, Rob.
