Hello
got the old intercooler pipes problem, have got another wmic from a breaker and is air tight. Did want a front mount but beyond means at the moment. litter! (nissan quoted £2400 for a brand new fix after a diagnostic had to laugh). Im a no tech and will probably mess it up. problem is as much as I like to think my local garage can fit it. Im not so confident as i dont see much decent metal in there? can anyone help with garages they have used, did check the other thread but nothing in bristol.

Where abouts in Bristol mate? :)

Assume it's an S13, given you refer to rust :wack:  TBH I've removed the WMIC from an S13 and it's a doddle. If it's a job I can manage then it's certainly one most garages can do, or indeed almost any living mammal. :D

no its an s14a. in hotwells, if its easy i will take it there no probs, the part i have got will need a new gasket though as the breakers have taken the shorter pipe off to post it. will that be an issue? Just a bit dubious as they have done a bit of head scratching when i taken it there before. But nissan were not to sure either so hey!

Cotswold Sports Cars just outside Thornbury if you're willing to travel that far, they know what they're doing

I think there is one in bath that gets used. Try a search of this section

Mikesx13 - have you used Cotswold Sports Cars ?

 They prep and run their own rally car and are complete petrolheads. Small outfit but are the better for it imo.
