Began my oil change today, and took the sump off to fit the Defi temp sensor, only to find a broken 'piston cooling jet arm' sitting in there. Gonna take the block apart on the weekend fingers crossed should be done for monday but if not i'l be out in X5 with Russ the bus stop dodger :D

Supposed to be mild on monday, il do a little rain dance

bad news is that engine only done 40 miles so far, so it'll be gently gently for me, no drifting!:no:

Block in the garage new piston cooling jets in, putting it back together tonight after work, finish at 12.30am would like to paint stuff before it goes back in but, that can wait...

All good, finished putting it back in then got too dark and too cold, just the plenum and turbo to go on, and other gubbins, then fill her up with some nice new fluids mmm mmm and fingers crossed out we come for the night.

Standard rims i like it that means business, plenty of smoke ! ! :eek:

well sorta went for a little rag home up to bout 130 , but only got clocked at 104.5 and got let of lightly thank fuk!!!!
he told me to do 70 all the way home so i did all through chi an emsworth
