after bowling in december (which was won by hallsy67, much to the dissapointment of dhracer who was beaten by 1 point:wack: ) i think we should do the same again this month, even if it is just so i dont come last this time :down:
is anyone up for this? if so, any ideas on dates/venues?

Obvious options are the one by Showcase in Brislington or the one upstairs from the Longwell meet location :)

Cribbs Causeway. My fault as i was in a Travel Inn just down the road. Was good tho had a great time and was good to see some different people off the board

My last job gave me RSI, my tendons are damaged from too many quick arm movements.

sounds nasty, as simon said though, you can use the ramps, theres a certain skill but i expect you can get a better score than me, i got about 60 i think last time :wack:

lol, i doubt you will be able to come last, im awful at bowling, i dont really understand why i enjoy it so much :wack:
so any ideas for times venues? i think the longwell bowling will be easiest to find for most people.

Every bolwling alley in Bristol that I know of has the option to put the kiddy barriers down automatically for individual players ;) so come along and bowl left handed! :D

As far as alleys are concerned the best in Bristol as far as I'm concerned is the Arena one near Ashton gate (think it's called something else now). It's also the tattiest and dodgyist though so I can't see many people wanting to leave their cars there :wack: (although I've never had an issue)

Just been up the Mall so had a look in the Superbowl -
Deffinatly a better venue than the Longwell one :nod:
This one has normal people in it and the music isn't deafening, I should also add it doesn't have bouncers which should give an idea of the improved clientel ;)
And the one thing that's won it for me regardless of all else is the discovery of a 4 player Outrun 2 arcade :smitten: :notworthy :wack:
(Maybe I'm a bit sad though :smash: )

Not that I know what you're talking about but how do you know Brislington doesn't have 5 player outrun? It won't, cos it's not a very big place but how do you know for sure until you've checked? :p
ok, well this forgot to get mentioned at the meet today until there was only about 4 of us left :wack: so ill bring it up again now, has anyone got any sujestions on dates? it looks like cribbs will be more convenient for people, and i can vouch for it being a good place, as thats where we went in dec :thumbs:

Well Jeff, Tim, Mike and I had a good laugh - 4 player Outrun is fun!
No way am I going to try and beat The Doctor at bowling though :wack:

Then I had a wee spot of dori practice on a bit of private land that looks like a roundabout, overcooked it (Open diff and an auto :ghey: ) and almost stacked it into a sign in the middle of the roundabout :smash:
'Tis a bit of a tricky beast to drift - it's either under or spin for me atm :nod:
Was an entertaining evening, even if there was only 4 of us :)
I mistakenly thought Tim went to the last bowling meet and would be able to recognise people - which was a bit foolish of me :o
