Yeah, I know it's a bit early... :wack:
We have (at todays meet) decided to hold the next Cheltenham meet for Febuary at the Megabowl in Gloucester. It's something different we can do, seeing as the weather was so crap today we went straight inside and had a drink before going home about an hour and a half after getting there.

I'm going to ring them and book two lanes for a game at about 14:30hrs Saturday the 4th of Febuary. I'm also going to grab some food at the bar afterwards, so anyone wishing to join me is most welcome.
Games are only £5.60 a pop, so won't break the bank and should be fun. jibber said he's never gone ten pin bowling before, so that will be some comedic entertainment at least. :p
If loads of people are going to turn up, then I might be persuaded to book more lanes, but I don't want to get into a situation whereby I have to start paying deposits for four or five lanes and having to go through the hassle of getting confirmation from everyone - only to lose out when only 10 or so people turn up.
If you post that you want to join in with a game, then please, be sure of it and I'll take note of the numbers.
I'll ring a couple of weeks before the meet and review the number of people who say they will be playing.

Right, I've just rang them and booked two games for Saturday the 4th Febuary at 14.30hrs. I've had to pay for all 8 people (something I didn't really want to do but I couldn't book without paying). So, you all owe me for two games.. You'd best all turn up or I'll be annoyed... :wack: :rolleyes:

i should be coming along too, to say hi atleast, met ad the otherday, just had my 6puk fitted yesterday (my leg hurts) so will help with the running in :D
pissing sodding exhaust is banging like mad, and the turbo gaskets are going, if i boot it, it screams lol...
quick question does anyone have a spare exhaust mount laying round?? its the gearbox to downpipe and the bellypan to the cat ones i need :( 14 dont have the downpipe one but the 14a does apparantly?? and the belly to cat one was snapped on the old system :(
oo im only young too :D well 21 in 18 days :D

Sorry, MaLicE, but I've got nothing hanging around in the way of brackets afaik, mate. I thought I had the original downpipe support bracket, but I can't for the life of me think where it is.

I don't know about well, but it's going, so that's a start :D
The rattle when it first started seems to have gone, but I might bring it along tomorrow, so you guys who know what it should sound like can have a listen :wack:
There's still a lot to do - the interior needs putting back together, the number plate and brick needs sorting (got messed up by the engine crane) and the brakes are shot. The guy I got it off supplied new pads, but it's too bloody cold :ghey: to do them at the moment. Had to swap the gear linkeage today (put it on upside down :wack: ) and nearly froze my tits off :rolleyes:

Ive already binned the interior, getting a rollcage, filter, exhaust, FMIC, bucket seats, coilovers, new wheels over the next few weeks :D
May even be sprayed by the time anyone sees it :D

Drift mainly. Last time I took the GTR drifting I broke it :cry: lol - so the idea is for it to be a cheap drift car for me to not care so much about if I break bits off it :wack:
Might do the occasional track day too, although sideways is the preferred direction of travel :D
