I'd be up for it, but South West basically means the Bristol area which is about 2 hours drive away :(
Can we have a country bumbkin deep south meet in Plymouth? :D
Adam
I think some peeps go to the skyline meet at gordano services.
Bigger meets would attract police attention, you need venue permission and insurance etc for over 100 people I believe.

what about if we give the police prior warning and keep on our best behaviour, that way they can take care of any "max power idiots" that may turn up and ruin it!

Doesnt quite work like that, if you tell the police they are more likely to turn up either as a cop to arrest and ticket everyone with a mobile emmisions tester, or if they are off duty theyll turn up in their super dupper nozed up vauxhall nova and do handbrake drifts into your nice cars.
damn rubbish police. why cant they just do what they are supposed to rather than just hand out tickets and break there own rules!:wack:
You could make good money as a cop ;)
lol, only bribes.
they get paid rubbish apparently. i got pulled over by one when i was 18 and they went over me with a fine tooth combe, so i got cheeky. turned out that he was 22 and was getting paid less than me, worked longer hours, worked 12 hour shifts and bank holidays and i just laughed in his face, told him i wasnt breaking the law in anyway shape or form and there was nothing he could do.. and there wasnt:)

lol nice edit! he told me £12k! he was training though, and it is unsociable hours and you would be hated be everyone including your own family ;)
You get double bonus' for shoping your own family, or so slater from only fools and horses has me believe.
Yep I would not want to be one either, a little annoyed that im on the same pay scales as people that dont need AAAs at A level and a masters but i dont think ill be working in the civil service for ever. Everything in the government is given its equivilents across the board even though its not so equivilent lol. So if you come in with no education you can earn the same and even con your way up the promotion scales as everythings done by competencies, ie little made up storys to pursuade your interviewer that you are a good communicator and a good decision maker lol.
