SXOC At Donny Show?

Yeah yeah yeah.... I know its full of c h a v s (Although i vowed not to go ever) But this year it has been moved to Donnington Park... With Drifting and Track sessions so at a guess its sounds like its gonna be a bit like Trax... Is anyone interested in organizing a stand and track sessions for the SXOC Boys? Show them what real cars and a real club is all about?

Donny Norths one of the better shows of the season IMO.. You get the clubs all bringing out the new cars that one ones seen before etc etc.. Even betrter that they are bringing new things to it.. Ill more than likely be there, not in the s13 though, prolly will be making sure the capri will be there though :)

HOWEVER!

this does seem like a much more appealing event especially with a bit off track time and the fact that there already seems to be a fairly big interest from you guys.

count me in and i would love to have my car there on show.

as many as i can get on one!!! :) its still all up in the air as i only began to sort this all out today after talking to vez. this thread was intended to gather interest to see if it was worth having a stand or not, to see how big a stand we should get and still is!

The possible twenty nine remaining 2006 licenses will be issued based on individual performances at the D1GB test, media and licensing day scheduled to be held at Donington Park on the 15th & 16th April 2006. All drivers wishing to gain one of the available D1 National Licenses may attend this event and participate to qualify for the testing evaluation on either day of the two day event. A driver may participate on both days if they wish. A D1GB and/or D1GP judge will choose up to twenty nine drivers from the weekend to qualify for a D1 National License.

These are the only two days where you will be able to qualify for a season long 2006 D1 National License.

D1UK have released the regs for this season - I'm not sure if the car would have to meet those or not. I would guess this is intended for serious contenders (ie, those that have already built a car to spec and are definately going to compete) rather than have-a-go-heroes... :D

yes this is what i believe but im still waiting on the club stand, weekend and track time info packs and booking forms to come from them, was orded thurs and still not here :( but we do have a temp booking as to make sure we get a stand

If its like the other years there is no way of getting us all camping in the same place. Last time I went for the weekend they opened the gates to the campsite at 11am Friday and it was every man for themselves. Basically just park where you want and slap your tent up :)

right going off there website the cost for the weekend is 40 but to show your car its 45 for the weekend so if you dint get on the stand and wanted to show your car it would only cost 5 more BUT i do not have the price for the stand/track time etc... yet so it dont matter lol

What can I do about any mates that want to come along? Can they get tickets this way too or shall I tell them to sort themselves out?

To be on the stand of the weekend of the show:-
drivers £25
passangers £30

we currently have 20 spaces on the stand but payment in full is required asap as to ensure we get a stand at the show

track time is £20 for 15minites and unless we can get 30 cars together it will be a matter of sorting this out your self at the show and not just sxoc!!

im waiting on them ringing back about us paying a little more and reducing the number of cars on track for us say 26.25 for 25 cars but this is only for 15minites on track! what do you think to this???

Sounds good, get it organised nice and early to avoid dissapointment.

Once sorted I'll put it in my diary.

Do we need to pay in advance? Just let us know who to pay, when to pay and what needs to be paid for.

If you can sort it brilliant! I am very much looking forward to it, although I'm not too sure if I will want track time. See what the general response is like with regard to that.
