Went on the RSOC bb today for the first time....to look at a cossie advertised as 'brand new', which it is as it's been built with all new parts, and came across this (http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=42;t=000551) rather nasty thread.

Nice one Bren, I think you won that little scuffle. :D
That cosworthkiduk is a spanner, he said the car doesn't need to be a Q plate because the Redline BMW has a cossie lump in it - he doesn't seem to understand that reshelling a car is a bit different to an engine swap
Theres no point trying to argue with people like that. http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/ubb/graemlins/wall.gif :)
Well done Bren! Show 'em how it's done!!!
cosworthkiduk - hmmmm, I think the members of your own board managed to flame you better than most could!
Anybody elses eyes go funny after switching back to our bb from the rs one?
I think i should be in bed!!
Anyway well done Bren and its good to see that the boyz over there realise ur a decent bloke as well, otherwise it could have looked bad for ur business.
But whats the deal with keeping the cossie in ur pic over there? get that s14 one on, and dont tell me its cos its a ford site.
Also, does that mean ur T3 supplier has fallen through:D :D :p :D
That kind of thing has always been common in the Ford world, and despite what some people say it's not as simple as putting the performance bits on a standard shell cos the shells of performance Fords are not always standard. My mate used to work for a Ford dealer in the parts dept, and in the days before independant body kit manufacturers you could buy RS turbo bonnet louvres from Ford.....but at a huge price to deter those who would disguise a car as something it is not.
I saw that the other day
Some people.............
Good on ya though Bren!
Hooray for Bren!
As I understood it, the Cossie shell's were vastly different from the boggo Sierra shells...
The 2wd Cossie's being based on the 3dr/RS500 Shell.
I only know this cos my mate has an old 2wd Cosworth, with some 440bhp on tap at 3500rpm. The spec reads like a WRC wish list.... Air injection anyone? ex-Tommi Makinen Block? Grp A Head? blah blah waffle - £18,000 for an engine!
Anybody elses eyes go funny after switching back to our bb from the rs one?
Know what ya mean:eek:
Well done Bren, couldn't have done better if ya handed cossiekiduk a shovel and made him dig:D
and what planet was Dai on:confused: , fairs do's if his old man was an RS engineer but I work with them daily (Being in prototype development) and some of them ain't too sh1thot, May a blown Fucus Rs I've had to deal with:D
Again weel done bren:)
That is sad to see.....
Nice one Bren!....(now that was a verbal kick- in)

Nice one Bren.
..is he not a bit thick to be trying to sell an iffy cossise..to cossie enthusiasts???
Having once been on the receiving end of a ringed motor (or whatever you want to call it if you insist on being polite) I hope that cossiekiduk gets what's coming to him. If he'd sold that to me it would be a sharp spike through his eye.
Well done Bren

he must of been thick coz as one guy has already explained cozziekid said "the missus reversed into a fence and it needs a back bumper" then further on he said "the original cossie had had a rear ender" hmm, no wonder it needs a bumper plus he said if he'd try to ring it why would he leave the plates on in the photo, prob coz he forgot all about it and didnt expect anyone to hpi it from the photo, the geezers a TW@T
Cheers lads :)
I just dont get people like him, makes you wonder how a guys brain works when he tries to sell someone a dodgy car and then, for no justifiable reason what so ever, slags him off!!
Complete w@anker. I just hate scrotes like that who think theyre clever and try to get one over on people when in fact they have the intellegence of a cucumber. And the Jade equivilent of the cucumber world at that!! LOL
Anybody elses eyes go funny after switching back to our bb from the rs one?
Yup!
GO BREN GO BREN GO BREN, what a F****ING tw@t. Some people are so dim and they lie so much they catch themselves out.
Bren my man, that bloke can consider him self told!....he is still whining though!
Good man.:D
Theres some more to the subject here, I posted this when I saw his post to try to stop any damage his slagging off had done.

nice one bren and im glad we dont have that problem with 2hundies
Thats what the RS market is like Im afraid :( You should have seen the grief I got when I first started on the RS BB. I got hassle from left right and centre!
Thats one of the reasons Im moving further and further into the Jap market as although there are loads of excellent guys and gals with Fords there seem to be a large number of w@nkers as well :(
Thats in complete contrast to this BB where Ive yet to come across one to55er :D
Bren, i far as i can see you did nothing wrong. I would say you showed considerable self constraint, since you know where this character lives;). The car was blatantly a ringer, everything the bloke said with regard to the history was said to mislead.
He should consider himself lucky that you didn't report him to the fuzz, then he tries to slate you on the RS board:confused: Unreal, what a pillock.
I am sure there are many poeple on this board alone that could say a few words about you, time waster would not crop up in conversation anywhere though. From my experience i would say you could teach some, if not most, companies a thing or two about customer service. And i am sure i am not alone in saying that.
Relax, your a top bloke, end of story.
PS if you don't want to go "visit" him, give me his address and i can explain the error of his ways. In fact we could probablly get a posse to go hunt him down........
Ha Ha Bren I had one of those letters without a stamp too and had to pay 99p to get it - so it was your lady's fault? I thought you were just saving money on the stamp to offset the cost of the pen:D

Damage limitation me thinks
Still, I think all who needed to see it did, and anyone with a drop of common sence - even "Jade" common sence as Bren put it saw it, will realise that Bren did was right, he also showed constraint, as Clong said, the fuzz could have been involved.
