Dont try and keep up on the twisties cos You will lose. In a straight though it should be good money :)

I know from experiance that a new WRX wont keep with you after 80mph but yes the twistys are a little more one sided. Youd have to be pretty skillful to hold an Imprezza off on their own turf:)

I wouldn't even keep up with a Nova on backlanes with my standard suspension, only one word springs to mind when I think of my road handlin and thats BODYLEAN!!!!!! :rolleyes: :D

I've had a couple of older WRX's quite easily on dual c/w but I reckon they would chew me up round country lanes! I think they are pretty well matched on acceleration but the 200 will pull away at 70+ coz I think the Scooby is generally lower geared. Scoobies put the power down better tho coz of the well sorted chassis and the 4WD.

Whatever you do don't race him in anything but dry conditions cause 4wd cars have a mental amount of grip even in the wet. I don't think I could beat a scooby on anything but a dual carrageway :rolleyes: , but I recon a good driver would stand an excellent chance.
