And what's all this shite about meets being boaring. I admit I haven't been for a few months mainly due to not being in the country for more than 3 days a week, but I thought the whole idea of the meets was for people to get advice about their cars swop info and to solve problems. I think ADE76 had most of his mods fitted at the meets :D Not to go to pubs and promote drink driving

All jokes aside. It was a friendly place, good food, good beer and nice staff. The one waitress was especially nice:D

Yep its a good idea. Its a nice place, the landlord was really friendly and wanted us to come there for our meet. So why not? Its pretty much central for us all. :thumbs:

From swansea,

Take the a465 carry on until the first juction after glynneath/Mac Ds roundabout. Turn Right at the lights, and follow the road for about 3 miles and the new in is at the very top of the hill on the right.


From Merthyr/cardiff/pontypool etc.

Get yourself onto the a465. Take a left roundabout for Treherbert/Treorchy a4061 (there is a little sign on the bottom that says Rhigos). At the next roundabout carry straight on and continue along the road for about 3 miles and the new inn appears at the top of a hill on the left.

hi jonnybumps girlfriend here. got to say the new inn aint to bad (being from that area my parents took me there as a child im now 21 the slide and swings still cool!!! lol and with my mum being from there get away with a lot!!! NOT!!!) the only really bad thing you got to look out for is the locals being disturbed out of their caves (if you look closely enough you will see the fires burning at the entrance to keep the dinosaurs out!!!! :D ) on a serious note you got to watch out for right by the pub and trust me its scary is my gran. she lives a couple of doors down :( trust me everyone says to her hall'o'ween has gone then they realise she looks like that all the time!!! :D :wack: :wack:

See what did I say hmmm used the car for 3 days back a forth to work and all its symtoms were clearing up.....nice and then true to form 150 miles or so somthing else goes wrong... The gasket(which I'd only just changed) has gone again ...The one between the manifold and the turbo arrrgh!

Its a good job I :smitten: love my car or i'd of set fire to it by now....
Anywho this means i'll not be there on the 27th as its not so much the gasket thats gone but the bolts have um evaporated so arse to it, ss manifolds from apex are going for £149 so santa gave his details yestarday but delevery not expected til next year......it'll take me that long to take it apart. Call me a :ghey: but when loads of sleet started coming down in Cardiff, I figured it was not the best idea to then drive up a mountain in an over-powered RWD sports car with tyres that are worse than useless in snow. Hopefully make the next one :)
