101 - Get a decat silencer  Less restrictive by loads than a bung.

I think I'll come watch this one when its on but not track the car yet, doubt it'll be modified by then and it'll be a bit wallowy on track.

...only jap cars...

Nah, you don't wanna do that. How about, only members of jap car clubs? I'm a defo for this as its dead close to me and i wanted to do a day there in my new car.

And i "have" a sound level meter, too, for anyone in the region of portsmouth/chichester/crawley.:)

ok... still considering goodwood but ... i have to say they are a little anal..not to mention dear..
i'm not looking to make any money off this, i was tying to keep it below £100, and include a greasy lunch for the drivers free... (burger van stuff).. it all goes into having a better day i think..
with goodwood thats just not going to happen..

i am looking at other options at the moment...

i recon if theres enough interest.. maybe 50 cars. this could end up being just a 200sx day.... now that would be cool.....

I did think you would struggle to get it under £100, but assumed you had some initial contact.
Brands Hatch is only £60,000 for the GP circuit for one day, get 100 people and thats only £600 each

bargain.... lets get two...

i can do it for the price.. just getting 50 with the noise restriction might be hassel.. thats all.....other circuits are much more accommodating

Goodwood is a great circuit but it is not cheap, all the good circuits in the uk are expensive though..or so far away you need a hotel for a night which then bumps the price up.

50 people registering interest means you will probably end up with 25 if you are lucky so don't book anything until you have substantial deposits from everyone.

you may end up very out of pocket if you arrange it yourself.

why not just organise it with easytrack, if you say we are a club they often let the club have a session to themselves. but this will mean it isn't open pit lane.

Bedford is a good track for people who haven't got much experience on track.
Goodwood is very fast and it is possible to come unstuck in a very spectacular fashion !!

Are you actively seeking interest in other forums? Theres always a few scoobs there on a trackday.Quite frankly if you raised the price to £120+ there would still be serious interest, and i shouldnt worry about the burger van,,theres a load of supermarkets 2 miles down the road for lunchbreak,,i just need caffiene throughout the rest of the day.
As you might have guessed,i'm a fan of Goodwood so i'd urge you to persevere.

I did goodwood last saturday its excellent but expensive £265 for a full day.5 cars on track at a time and 5 laps a session noise limit 105db,but 96db if its 10 cars on track. I would do it again, and so would my mate in his 300zx.so you could count us in
