Before i start i will start by saying that i was stupid :wack:
thursday just gone i decided to go for a little spin and as the roads were quite slippery i thought i would have a go at drifting. it was about half 12 and i had a barney with my missus which didnt help things. the roads were dead quiet so i had a little play.
the drifting was good and i was on my way home so thought i would have one last go. i was problably one of the best ones i did all evening but :wack: im driving home and who do i spot......... the PLOD!!!!
they saw wat id done and pulled me over(gutted) after a lengthy chat with the two lovely officers(sarcasm) they slapped an instant 3 points on my clean license and gave me a slap on the wrist and sent me packing. :(
the remaining drive home was the longest drive ever after being deeply gutted at having points for a moment of stupidity, thinking back i feel as tho i tempted fate.
so the moral of my actions is to keep it on the track as i found out the hard way

forgot to mention in my essay that i would of had 6 points if it wasnt for the fact that i admitted everything and said i was sorry and i wont do it again  , after i sprinted up the dual carriageway when they were behind me the copper driving said that he was doing 150mph to catch me, yeah right! fukcin liars!!!!
but i am glad i only got 3 points instead of 6. :wack:

Oooops :wack:
If he had to do 150mph to catch you, you should have kept it flat and he'd have never caught up with you! lol.
Aah Cwmbran the home of the roundabout, the Chav and POLICE HEADQUARTERS :wack:
Cwmbran aint the best place to go drifting at anytime
You were lucky they didnt get you up in court and do you for dangerous driving. Also you took the best option in admitting to it and saying sorry

At least you owned up.
You know how much I am into drifting but i won't do it on the road. Just not worth it.
What was the offence they actually booked u for? Were u just having a little play? Or was it insane "literall" sideways slides 50 feet from the coppers?
F**king hate the Gwent police, they are pretty much the worst in the whole of the UK for coming down on the motorist. Their traffic cops are right :censored: :ghey:

They are just doing there job. If your driving like your supposed to be they cant say shit
Ive got away with my fair share of things and have learnt my lesson
I agree with you that they are feckers for minor things and pull you over for feck all :whip: but drifting on the road aint no minor matter. Like people have already said, He did the sensible thing and owned up, apologized and took the 3 points. It could have been a lot worse.
You did well to get off with only 3 points, and as you say you know you were in the wrong.
Tonofun - there are many good cops but if your being stupid expect to get attention.

I am sure Chris will confirm, but I think it was a 3rd gear effort, completely sideways, spitting flames on a huge wide roundabout...when he called me he was mighty disgruntled.....but my first reaction was you lucky tw@t! As people have already said....the same circumstances on a different day might have resulted in a DD code on his licence.
As it happens I think he was slapped with a "Insuitable use of a motor vehicle" code, but not 100% sure.
Yea, well fair enough like, if ya gonna do REALLY stupid shit like that on public roads, you gotta expect to get burned at some point innit. Totally agree with u Mel B, just voicing my opinion of the w**kstain traffic coppers I've had to deal with for really sh*tty minor things. Other things like the reports you hear of how much of their annual budget goes to the traffic division, speed cameras, camera vans, and anpr vans p*ss me off too like... I'd just like to see more effort on their part going after the child molesterers, rapists, and burgalars is all...
Soz, rant over!

more effort going on chasing criminals ? Wrong country mate,
imagine your a cop, u spend time chasing a criminal, all the time and effort u put in, hoping to have him behind bars or whatever, etc.... Only to find some numbskull :wack: magistrate who hasn't got a clue release/not jail/no comm service the criminal.
So Mr 5-0 , thinks, turn our attention towards easy pickings, where no magistrate is needed, he's getting his job done, and gets his satisfaction from it also..... sense of doing somthing as such....
U need a good spanking though for being naughty on the roads :whip:
Cops can be good, and cops can suck, just a shame they suck more than they do good !
I'm not even allowed to be a 'Special' cop, cos i mentioned i'd give a crim a good kicking if i knew he would get away with his crime.........
My interview ended shortly after that ! :smash: :annoyed:

tonofun you are totally right it was really stupid of me to do it, but something came over me and i saw the chance to do so as it was quiet. looking back on it now the 3 points i got was extremley lucky as i was going to get 6 as i said previously.
as for the police, yes they did their job which i understand i just got annoyed at the way they go about things. i may be the only one who thinks this but when they pull you over they are ice cold with you but after they have done what they need to then they try to be your best friend. :ghey:
