I assume the fiasco with Trax? Also there was a certain amount of stick flying around over the karting

To minimise the oportunity for people taking the mick of booking events places and not paying and just generally making life more difficult for those who give their time freely to sort out events.

I would take a wild guess it's down to the number of people who say 'put me down for x amount of tickets I'm deffinatly up for this :thumbs: '
And then don't turn up or even bother letting the organisers know :indiff:

Trax this year was a prime example, we've had some similar situations in the south west this year aswell.

It's also handy if we should gain some random idiots who piss around at events and risk ruining the SXOC's name/image as we can simply ban them from the stand in future :)

Hopefully, no major issues should arise now we are taking a deposit/full payment for events in advance of names going on lists.

However, if anyone owes money for past events, now might be a good time to cough-up. :)

I reckon its a good idea :nod: protects genuine interest and will make poeple think tiwce about just slapping there name down for an event when they know they might not be able to make it, but are just doing it for sake of. :nod:
