More tasty cars than u can shake a big stick at!
Anyone see the London to Mosco Gumball? A ferrari crashed at "between 140 & 150mph", with the top speed being achievev by another ferrari at something like 206mph?

206? One of the guys I worked with was on a Porsche press launch in Spain and overtook Jason Orange at the wronf side of 200 and continued pulling....
I'm surprised only 206...

Aye, done it a few times now.. Always up for a bigger convoy :D

As for the gumball... love the way those feds had people hog tied at the side of the road! i think that max fellow was a bit of a plonker though.. all that way and no parties?!

Also loved that redneck trucker, bribing the women to "look at his rig" then started saying he takes coke or something! hehe

lol, always good. The US ones are a little lame though compared to the european ones. The US police just stop and try to arrest you. The European Gumball is hilarious, travelling through some of the poorest countries, they just bribe their way out of a ticket with like £5 :D
The next one is in America but apparently the one after might be Europe again.

i think it was on the ruby wax version of the same european gumball rally that jackass went on... some guy in a ferrari got fined £200 for speeding which he paid up... and then said to the policeman "here have another £200 and treat your wife and yourself to a weekend in paris"! now that's class!

The boy (no. plate "looney") in the ferrari cleared a large fence and a steam with his crash!!

The US one seemed a bit tame in comparison but maybe they missed all the good action?

nope, i know someone who went on the US one and the europe one. They said the US one was all very tame and not really that good (put it this way, they said they wouldn't do another one in america)
It's not saying the gumballers weren't a good laugh it's jsut what with the time schedule/traffic/police, nobody was that pleased.
The europe one was just a big race, there wasn't much traffic, most of it was empty roads and the police didn't care too much.
Plus the token celebs, who cares? i'd be more interested in driving fast than getting to see some actor at a party.

PS maybe we should sponsor Steve Carter to do the next gumball, the driving won't be that interesting but the parties would make interesting viewing.

Thats a poor show, I've heard of another cross contry race in america which takes place on the empty dessert style roads you see in the movies. It's the real deal (illegal though), the road deaths go into double figures each year - serious stuff with big money on it.

Its quite famous as well but I can't remember its name?
