View Full Version : drifting - new locations
I am currently investigating new locations for drifting in the south east, mainly 30mins radius outside junc 3/5 of the m25.
I will be approaching various people to see if we can utilise their facilities.
1 - How many people would be interested in being part of this? I only want drifters and not f#ckwits wanting muck about.
2 - Big thank you to James for the 'lessons in drifting' last rainy night. The sod has pushed me into it.
I am not promising anything but dog nam it I will try.
Put you name down on the list please.
1 - Cosy
2 - Steve
3 - Matty
4 - Roland
5 - Rads
6 - James
7 - Daniel
8 - Mad Man Dan
9 - Lennie
10 - Dubster
11 - MarkeyB
depends on price. and location.
and if I can find a cheapy cheap trailer...

What he said
I'll be game, but not for aboot 2 weeks + 1000 bedding in miles :)
If its the right venue yep. Further anti-clockwise (closer to M11) would suit

The closer a venue gets to Colchester the more likely I am to be there. So your doing well with just over the water.

LOL and it wasn't even really drifting apart from that one junction, it was just sliding around in a straight line with crazy wheelspin. Glad you're hooked though. You should come to Santa Pod on the 5th Nov and see some proper drifting.
You know I'll be anywhere within 100 miles if there a day on. :D

Possibly - if God answers my latest prayer and lets me keep the car
Or maybe if I get rid of the car I could try it in the Rover :wack:

Any news on the possible locations??
Not yet, got so much work on, but hoping to get the ball rolling this weekend.
put me down too, further towards me would be better, but not assential :)
I have a drift location that we use on weekends. The only problem is they wont like too many people turning up. Theres 2 of us and they dont mind the 2 of us spending a couple hours there on a weekend but not sure if they would like other people turning up there too

Im game :)
Pop me down
Im sure baba that if everyone put £5 down all would smile
I dont think money is the problem for them. I cant explain in detail here unfortunately but its a tricky situation :D
It's a tesco car park, isn't it :wack::D
Not really. Its a very big company car park. The security guards agreed to turn a blind eye when we go drifting there as long as we dont do it too often and keep a low profile.
Well the first location cannot hold us, so off to the next one to find out...

Those words aren't in my vocabulary, so you'd best keep it to yourself :D

We got told off so thats the end of our little drift venue :( I think we overdid it last week. Might wait and see if they cool down a bit.
Would this be open to beginners?
Should be open to all, see what they say about numbers.
Apart from matty who will be our demo drifter
should you really be asking that?
Always a pleasure never a chore
