Hi everyone,

I'm trying to contact a company in Japan called MASA Motorsports (http://www.masamotorsports.com) for 3 months yet but never got an answer. Tryed to send some Net-translation but don't think it was very good.
Could some one write them an E-Mail and ask the details (what parts are included, what material are they off, do they bolt-on or is some welding/diff. work needed) about there S13 -> S15 (http://www.masamotorsports.com/s1314.html) conversion?
As what I can get from there homepage it seems 'quite' cheap compared to others. They quote Y300k (」1550) for the 'complete' kit (what ever is included); only Y68k (」340) for the bumper and the fenders (?pair/single?) Y50k (」250).

TIA 4 ur efforts

Regards Bean

That link you have given us isnt for an S13-S15 conversion, its just an S15 with a body kit.

I can just about do "can you tell me when the train to Nagoya is please" but thats about it. :D

I think your best bet is to ask TakaKaira (www.takakaira.co.jp) to liaise with them for you to find out what you want to know. If they think theres a sale in it they should be able to do this for you.

I think the translator idea is a no-go really considering how badly Japanese translates to English, I doubt its much better the other way around.

Heh heh, ie. hello, I would like to buy a body kit for my car please
translates to in japanese こんにちは, 私は私の車のためのボディキットを買うことを望む
and if you translate that back to english you get:-Today, as for me the fact that the body kit for my car is bought is desired
hmmmmmmm ;)

and:- Hi, I want a body kit for my nissan 200sx, it must be cheap and look good. thanks for your help
into :-こんにちは, 私によっては私の日産200sx のためのボディキットがほしい, それは*なたの助けのための安いと一見のよい感謝でな ければならない
you get :-Depending upon me the body kit for my NISSAN 200sx wants today, that when for your help it is cheap, must be the appreciation whose glance is good

Arse the Jap fonts arnt loaded!

I know! but they do it. Scroll down the page and you'll see S13 -> S15! As I already said they quote the 'complete' kit for Y300k. And also on theire flyer (http://www.masamotorsports.com/news.html) there's the conversion for the S14 called MASA S14.5 and they do the same for the S13 obviously called S13.5.

So back to my original Q - any1 able to write a Japanes E-Mail by knowledge of the language than the use of a net translator?

I spoke with TakaKaira once, they were rather unfriendly and not a big help - also when I mentioned shippment to Europe. And about 5 months ago they didn't knew anything about a strawberry conversion. Meanwhile the got one from West Yokohama but I don't want to give up on the MASA one as it'll be real special here.

So again, please any1?

Hi Bean Bandit,

I work with some jap guys (being a jap firm and all). One in particluar is a real top bloke, he might help. If you tell me what you want translated i could ask him. Can't promise anything tho.

P.S. As Papa Lazarou says, it's a b*stard to translate. I try and teach the guy here all sorts of 'proper' english. It wiles away the minutes. :D

That would be very nice. It's all about that S13.5 conversion I talked above (first post). I would like to know what is included in theire 'complete' kit, material (sheet metal or fiberglass), fittment to a RS13 (any welding, etc.) and of course what's the price. Can the ship/fly it to Europe or do I need someone else to do it.
Well I think that's about it for the first Mail;) If you got more Q PM me

Regards Bean
