Hello everyone

Now i've never been into bikes, always thought they we're a bit :ghey: .
But fcuk me was i wrong.
My mate won some free VIP tickets to the last round of the BSB yesterday. He works for virgin mobile so we had the team virgin hospitality suite, pit lane passes and all that stuff! Anyway......

If you've never watched a bike race in the flesh then you haven't watched a bike race. These machines are stupidly quick! And the people riding them live by the moto "brake when you see god"! I could not believe the balls of these riders.

It was and brands hatch. I don't know if anyone knows this track but we watched from the end of the pit straight on paddock hill bend. This is an off camber bend that drops rapidly on the exit and is blind on approach!!!!!

These , only way i can describe, Fcuking nutters are going into the corner at over a ton and are literally hanging off the bike. Now i know on T.V they look close to the road but christ. T.V definately takes something away.

Just wished i could have taken my car round there, just for a bit of a laugh!

Loads of pretty ladies too. And the highlight of the day had to be one of the team virgin girls stripping off and streaking the entire length of the pit straight just before the final race!

Still wouldn't have a bike tho i don't think! I did give it serious thought when we sat in a field for a hour and a half waiting to get out. But then two miles down the road had the reminder why i don't want one. Some poor guy had been knocked off his bike by some young lad in a rover.

Anyway thats probably bored you to death now so

Yeah i am into bikes more so than cars. I have been watching races and attending meets for over 10 years now.

I am applying for my race licence next year too.

Glad you liked it, nothing beats the bikes.

I used to love bike racing, but seem to have lost a bit of interest in it in the last 2 years, don't know why
I still think it's the most spectacular and exciting form of motorsport though, and the one I know the most about :D
Having done quite a few trackdays on my CBR6, I feel I've experienced a tiny bit of what it's like for the racers :)
Glad you enjoyed your day out, get yourself to Cadwell Park next season, watch them fly over The Mountain  Awesome :notworthy
Raz :)
