ive read your other post on hybrid rebuilds and just wondered if your turbo guys can make the T28 turbo to the equivilant of ND's super hybrid?? (360hp) is this poss??

if so how much??

and can you get 444 injectors??

Mmm, Ive been onto my turbo guys (Universal Turbos) and they dont do a Super Hybrid as such. I then tried Turbo Technics and they tell me that you cant fit a T04 compressor wheel in a T3/T28 compressor housing as ND claim???

Turbo Technics think the exhaust housing and wheel will be from a GTiR turbo. TT have a GTiR hybrid turbo developed and ready to go but not an S14 one as the turbo housings sit differently.

However, they are looking for a car so they can line up the housings and develop the S14 hybrid if youre interested in going to see them? They are in Northampton. :)

Don't need a Super Hybrid, Barry Caleini get's about this from a standard T28 ;)

Can you get one of the companies to copy a HKS GT2540R turbo which would be good for a little more than 360 hp?? And bolt straight on.

I assume they are made with components from the standard Garrett parts bin?

I'm sure the Turbo is, although the engine certainly isn't.

If the HKS turbo is made from Garrett components then yeah, I can get them made no problem :)

'Just' got to find one to rip to bits. Shouldnt be too difficult, I have to fight my way through HKS turbo kits to open the door here :rolleyes: ;) LOL :D

It requires someone who will buy a HKS turbo on the cheap and allow me to have a play with it first :)
