Have a visit to one of your local Computer Fairs,
http://www.computer-fairs.co.uk/
Fareham, Southampton or Chichester ought to suit you!
The subject of which card is too wide I'm afraid, but have a good look around, don't buy the first thing you see, and chat to the traders.
GENERALISATION ALERT! AGP and as much memory on board as you can afford.

You want an AGP card and for 80 quid you can't do better than one of these:-
http://www.ebuyer.com/product_images/products_169/product_33748.jpg
http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=33748
Inno3D Tornado GeForce3 Ti200 128Mb DDR with TV-Out - Retail Box.
or one of these

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=31923
Leadtek WinFast GeForce4 MX440 64Mb DDR Retail
Either of those will kick ass,
BUT
Only get one of them if you are already running 256mb or more of RAM if your not then upgrade your RAM first.

Just compared a couple of items (CPU's, CD ROM drives) and Ebuyer are actually cheaper by a few ££.

For on line price checks I use PC index, which includes Aria and other good sources.
http://80.71.0.140/
However, I always get the best deals at Fairs.
1st check what your pc takes some only have slots for pci some for agp some have both. It can be difficult to return these once opened and suddenly...
Sh!!t it doesnt fit!!

I have a Hercules Prophet KyroII 64M card which you could probably get for that sort of money now.
It's great for high resolution but can't compete with GF3 and GF4 cards because it doesn't have hardware transform and lighting.
It'll run UT2003 at about 40-50 fps which is all I care about :)
i can get you lots of different cards, i'll do quik list for you prices are PLUS VAT

That Geforce 3 Ti200 Dave_S13 showed would be the best for the money I reckon. Should be better than the GF4MX's for games use - they're actually just an updated GF2MX rather than a true GF4.
totally agree, just giving more choice,
however i can get hold of an even gr8r range of products just have to start another trade account with the coutries number 1 VAR which i could do, but they have lots of T&C's

Really, it depends on what games you want to play. If they are mainly going to be RTS games and the like, you probably don't need anything more than a GeForce2 GTS or something.
If you want to play Morrowind or UT2003, it's a good idea to spend a bit more and go for a GF4 (non-MX version)
