Ooooooppppsss

Just got nicked going up Boxhill (Mickleham Bends)

125 in a 50

By an unmarked WRX Scoobie.

Git - only pulled me because: (and I quote)

"You were starting to pull away from us there"

Stern lecture, slapped wrist, sent on my way.

What a Jammy Basket I am....

Must be all those Nuns I had in the car with me

LUCKY GIT!

You do realise that that sort of speed, especially in that sort of speed limit, is a ban usually?

I got pulled over last summer for doing 60 in a 40 in the tvr and just got a telling off. Either the guy liked my car, was impressed with my summer roof-down posing, liked limp bizkit playing really loudly as he tried to shout to me () or he just couldnt be bothered with the paperwork :)

No no no no

Mr. Golden Nuns

Besides, I had to put with a lecture on speeding and dangerous driving, then give all my details so they could verify that i wasn't a fugitive on the run for unpaid council tax or something....

And it made me late for my meeting by 20 minutes.

Incidentally, this is not my personal best....

127mph in my Calibra Turbo on the Horsham Bypass and a let off surpasses this.

True... BUT, if you get a short ban for a single instance of speeding you don't get points for it... if you clock up 12 or more points in a 3 year period you get a YEAR'S fuc*ing ban :(

Justice??? I think not :( But then I wouldn't, would I!

Luckily the last 3 pointer wasn't me... it was my ex-mate :)

Yep, but they werent all for speeding. Ive only had one ban for speeding, that was the last one, I got 2 weeks for that. The first was for totting up (4x speeding)- 6 months. the others were a year, another year, then 2 years. Bit sh1t really.

Wow! :(

I thought it was automatically a year for the totting up...? How did you scrape 6 months? Also, what did you do to get a 2 year ban!!!???

How did you get to work without a car? I live in the sticks, and travel 35 miles to work and back every day - so no License would mean no job... which is decidedly worse than spending a month in the pokey, which I'd rather do that lose my license for a year, as my job is priceless. :(

And - how old must you be to have ammased such a mighty collection of convictions? ;) I've only been driving since '95 - and only started collecting points in November 2000 - about 7 days after I bought the beloved sx.... :(
