Just needed to say ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE RIGHT SETS OF FUKIN BSTARD CURNTS:(:(:( !!!

I can't get a bloody quote for an s14a that I can:
a) - Afford

or

b) - Bring myself to pay.

£1400 fking quid is the cheapest I've got after 4 hours on the phone. And I'm ready to slit my wrists after speaking to these numpty fckers over and over again with the same information.

Its seriously looking like I'm not gonna be driving a 200 for at least a couple of years.

Were thinking of getting an MR2 instead (she can get us both insured for £800) there still 175bhp and really quite nice to look at.

Gunna keep trying a bit longer though.

Have you tried Admiral? They were about £450 cheaper than Flux when we bought our S14a. They're not too good on covering mods though (cost a fortune to add my wheels and suspension and they won't replace them like for like).

Good luck!

Herts Insurance Consultants. There are a few of us on the BB that are with them. I'm paying £580 FC.

Try:

Adrian Flux, Tesco & Lancaster Insurance.

www.tesco.co.uk

Lancaster was the cheapest for me, £365 TPFT including Solicitors etc.

www.elephant.co.uk - they were the best quote I found.

Just one point, I found the S14 much more expensive to insure than the S13. If you're happy with something a little older (and a whole lot cheaper to buy) might be worth considering.
