My 200 is going in to have a boost leak sorted over the weekend/next week, and I need to MOT it at the same time - now I know it'll fail because I haven't got a cat fitted, so has anyone in Wales (preferably near to Neath) got one that I can borrow for a few days please?

Cheers,
Jon

Sorry all been on holiday the past week so only now able to check the replies - I'll be in Neath tomorrow to put my Audi up for sale in Autotrader (staying over my girlfriends house in Aberdare right now) - who out of the local peeps is available tomorrow? I'll come and pick it up (in my new runabout :D ) around mid-afternoon if that's OK - can you reply to this thread please - my PM box is a bit cramped.

No mate I know it sounds a bit strange, but that's what I wanted my car to end up looking like (but never got round to it). The car is a completely standard 1998 (R Reg) Audi A4 1.9 TDi 110bhp Quattro (you know the 4WD ones) SE Spec. Full leather, all electrics, digital climate control, fitted tow bar, full service history, approx 93,000 miles. It's probably not what you're after if you want something to replace your GTI-6, but if you're interested I'm looking for £7000 ono. It's going to be re-taxed soon so will have 12 months tax to the buyer. It really is a great car, but I've just bought a pickup and something has to go!

Ah ok mate yep a bit out of my price range have 5.5k max.

Seen a few A4 TDI's with 100k plus on the clock and some with kits that fit the bill at 5.5k but worried about reliability

Also looking at a VW Bora, Passat, 307 HDI 110 D turbo and 306 HDI cant afford a tidy Golf tdi
