Just looking through a mag last night and I seen a show in September that looked interesting. Its the Japanese Performance Car Show on the 24th and 25th of September in Sandown park. www.chpltd.com/japanese_performance/japshow.html

:confused: Has anyone been to this one before ?
:confused: And if so whats it like?
I'm also thinking about taking a spin up to it to have me a look anyone else fancy a 3hr down the M4? :nod:

Not sure yet.... E-mailed them again about a stand but had no reply:) Its the first year its been run :)

If its the first year its been run it would be good to show it some support. And I've not been to much this year so I think i'll be going. :thumbs:
But as Uni says this will be pending a going out pass being issued :( ! Mind you she'll probably wanna come along herself!

If all goes well we could hook up along route and do a M4 convoy thing.
Anyone have any contacts from accross the bridge? we could hook up with on route. :thumbs:

Just to let you guys know, i've organised a club parking area for this now :)
They'll be room for about 20 cars.

I'm up for going and going on this stand thing, but allthough I go to things with a few people I've meet on this site.
I own an S14
And have always ment to join

Is there anyone that can help me join in time so that I can get on the stand etc. Perhaps if theres someone who can take money and a sig off me on the Day?

I did this once before :cry: I was the red S14 parked in the paddock next to the sxoc's stand at Japfest :cry: and my car was in theropy for months :cry: don't :cry: .....know............if .......... :cry: she'll take.. :cry: it ....again :cry: :cry:

Its just a cordened off area out the front for sxoc parking, they'll be plenty of room as i dont think there are gonna be more than 15 or so 200's going on each day.

Ok then, I,ve just spent a while reading a few threads on the torqueshop BBQ and other stuff. And it looks a if for other reasons the BBQ has been delayed till october.

So What day are you guys heading up to this show?
Its on the 24th and 25th

I'm thinking a possible friday evening after work trek up to a nearby travel lodge or camping. i'm gonna phone now to see the avalibility of pitchs.
Do you guys have any plans?

Ok I've made the call and its £20 per car plus tent for camping and 2 people in tent. then £13 for the 2 day pass.

I'm waiting for a brother-in-law to confirm if he's going then i'm gonna book me and them in they said that if I book it won't matter what time i turn up on the friday night.... cos i may be putting up the tent in the dark. :eek:

So far theres 4 cars goinging up Me in the 200 my wife in the FTO and the brother in law in the Prelude and my neace in her civic. One car for tools/cleaning stuff one for camping stuff, one for cloths, and one for food/beer :confused: :thumbs:

Do you guys fancy camping up there then it'll be more of a laugh if theres more of us,i'll be travelling from cross hands/pontaberham (end of M4) at around 6pm.

I'm actually trying to reduce the time I leave... At the mo i'm looking at after six. cos of me other halfs hospitol appointment.

so she's looking at re appointmenting it. so we can get away a bit earlier :thumbs:

I'm the same, off work so leaving times are not a problem.

Went out yesterday to buy a tent (end of season sales are great) :thumbs:

Decided to have a trail run in the garden and it doen't fit in the garden :wack: (well on the grass anyway).

I've probably got enough room to park my car in there as well as sleep! :eek:

Right I've got a time ...................How does it sound if I leave Pont-aberham at 16:30Hrs and call in at J47 ( I'm thinking its the Services you'll be at Mr Babooooon) to give you a knod. :thumbs:

Then get the hammer down to Cardiff gate at approx (1/2 too 3/4 hour later).
to meet up with old one wheel and oilman.

Then onwards to Sandown from Cardiff gate its approx (149.3 miles and travelling within the speed limits :D it should take us 2hrs 18mins)

Giving us a pre turn off the M4 stop I reckon we'll be there some time around 20:00hrs. Which should still be light enough to errect the tents. have a tread, kick back and have a beer :thumbs:

How does this sound with everyone?

Mr Baboon, not that there's much chance of another 200 being parked in the services can I asume yours would be the one shown in your Avatar (black s14/s14a with s15 front end and yellow and red stripes)?

It was only made possible by the idiot trying to tow HMS "huge boat" with a landrover. that prefered to be upside down! :nod:

But yes It was a good outing. Show was quieter than I expected but still a good weekend. :thumbs:

They finally gave in and decided to end the show at 4:00 lol

Got to Newport only to be stuck in traffic for 2 dam hours :(

By the time i got to the tunnels i couldn't be arsed lol

Drive home was cool though :) came back with the OPIE oils lads and the Anodized red Rex ;)
Oh and we were bothering a bloke in a mint Skyline for a while too lol
