Hi,
Think I have a fcuked rear shocker, and want prices on shocks (set of four) and springs (set of four, lowered and uprated)

What options are there (s14)?

are spring and shock sets better cos they match?

Do the shocks come complete or inserts?

Price on new alloy front top mounts also

Lots of questions i know

Cheers

Dano

Youre fairly limited in shock choice.

You can go for KYBs at £250 for the set of four. They are 30% uprated and they are straight swap for originals.

Or you can go for Konis at £380. The fronts are just inserts though so the original shocks need drilling apart and the Koni inserts bolting in.

The only complete kits (i.e. with springs) that are available that I know of are the Jap kits at silly money (i.e. £1200+).

On the spring front you can go for Apex at £105, H&Rs at £120, Eibachs at £150 or a range of Jap kits, Blitz, HKS etc. :)

The KYBs should be available next day. Ive got a batch of Apex springs on order but cant check their arrival date or the lead times on the H&Rs 'till Monday.

I will try my best. I dont know if it will be possible for them to re-directed so late in the day as they will already be bound for your home addy. Ill see what I can do though :)

If the worst comes to the worst youll be able to pick them up from the delivery depot tommorrow evening as they usually stay open fairly late.

Ill be in touch in the morning. :)

The supplier are getting onto their courier company (Business Post) to see if the driver can deliver to your work address instead. With any luck that wont be a problem as if your home and work are close then the same driver will probably cover both areas :)

If they cant get through to the driver then theyre going to get back to me with your local Business Post depots tel number and the consignment number so you can collect :)
