Went to see Resident Evil last night. Feck me its a make you jump film!!!
I actually shouted out loud "ARRRRRRGGGHHHHH" at one particualrly scary point!! LOL I dont think anyone heard though so got away with it, well except my g/friend who herself jumped a mile!!! :D
Not the best film Ive seen but scary as feck, well worth watching :D
A bit like the game then...tinkling water, birds chirping then ear shattering music, rabid dogs attacking etc.
Same with Event Horizon...not particularly scary but the sudden jumps in volume creates the scare effect.

Saw it about 2 months ago, best part are the defense lasers near the start of the film
Oh yeah, the guy thought he was doing well avoiding them didnt he. Who was in for a suprise then!! LOL

Yeah, I saw that at the pictures and I fekin sheeat meself, like you said its the "nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing WWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHBAAAANG", gets you every time, couldn't wait for it to finish.
It was on telly last week and didn't have quite the same effect though,
I'm off to see that minority report tomorrow, apparantly its pretty good.
Strange you should say that you couldnt wait for it to finish, I felt exactly the same. Thats the first time Ive been to see a film that made me so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave. Thought I was just being a pussy so Im glad its not just me!! LOL :D

Minority Report is pretty cool with plenty of twists and turns :) Well worht watching.
Have you seen 6th Sense? Fecking ace ending to it, never saw that coming!

No mate, all my WAAAAHHHHHing was on the inside, but your right, that was a frikin arse twichter of a film, only on the big screen though.
Didn't like sixth sense, that kid was a little $hit :)

No I saw it at the Showcase, warner village is much better though.
Have you seen Proof of Life with Meg Ryan & Russell Crow??
It was one of them ' theres feck all in the VID shop, close your eyes and pick one' moments and it was bloody brilliant, I even bought a copy on DVD.
If you haven't seen it.....SEE IT.

On the merit of this thread I downloaded the film today, and thanks to you my brain is a little more twisted now :eek: Jumpy or what!
me too :D couldn't wait for Event Horizon to finish !
Ive seen Proof of Life but it was on vid and was one of those kind of watching but not paying 100% attention kind of moments so I didnt really get into it.

I was the same the other day when it was on tele, the suspense when you just know somethings gonna scare the feck out of you in a moment is horrible. But in a good kind of way!! LOL :d

Going back to the 'Resident Evil' game chat, I agree it's pretty **** now, was OK at the time tho'. However if you want a scary game, get Silent Hill 2 for the PS2 link it up to a surround sound amp and turn out the lights...... I nearly sh:t myself!!!! :eek: :D

The minority report - good film , tries a bit too hard to lose you with its twists and turns and its all a bit flawed but still well worth watching.
Jason X - a complete pile of Yak Cack ! Low budget , no faces you recognize , predictable awful bullsh1t.
Resident Evil - ****ing brilliant. Lots of big loud scarey bits and generally a classy sci-fi pic. (and the bird in it is f*cking fit)
I actually liked res evil2 on the ps1.
Lights out, sitting with big screen and surround sound, down to last few bullets.......... door opens ............ creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeck ... u dunno wats on the other side.
Looked down at one point and seen that all the hairs on me arms were standing bolt upright, although it may have been cos it was 3am and the heating was off lol:p :D
