Hiya mate, bit of an odd question for you. A guy at work is swedish and holds a swedish driving licence. the question is what kind of punishment could he expect for a speeding offence? Im sure they cant endorse his licence, does he just get a fine or something?

Logic suggests that they can't endorse the licence cos it is not UK property. I think for low speeds a warning would be issued. At higher speeds they could arrest and detain for dangerous driving and probably impound the vehicle with additional fines.

I need to read up on this. I have wondered if it is possible to register my car in Spain when my old man buys property out there and then drive on a spanish licence with a spanish registered car and so that I would become untouchable
