Weston Wheels is a modified car show it was ok last year but nothing to shout about..they did have a rolling Road last year though which was good

how far is it? what happens there? is it a static show or are there 0-60, rolling road, 1/4 mile, etc to keep us entertained?

i fancy going to some car shows, missed everything this year so far because i've been busy working on my car. even spent my whole birthday fixing it rather than going to Ford Fair. :(

Its like prev said a legal cruise almost will be a huuuge field with loads of car clubs and trade stands and big music tent (was in there loads last year as it pissed down) its worth a look as its so close. Its about 45 mins from cardiff though!

Have been to every Weston Wheels, and they get worse and worse every year. Last year was the pits so I aint gonna bother this year. Going by last year it really aint worth the Journey or the enterance fee.
Spend the money in the pub. I am.

i was gonna say, Isn't Weston a Mare, as in Nightmare, not super mare ! Yeah, i saw the deposit, Grrrrrr !!!, got the money if i want from the bank, but ringing around the insurance companies, gonna be a no go, also gonna be a no go for buying a R34 GTT (98/99 plate) with 0 mods, because of insurance companies :-(
Also, it doesn't help that i cant garage the car overnight, gonna sell my S14 later this year, and buy an S14a which is about 4 or 5 years old :) or Buy a CLK230 Elegance :ghey:
I guess when that amount of money hits my account, i'll be on the prowl again, stupid :ghey: insurance companies ! They stop all the fun!! :p

I am with A-plan for my 200, i tried main insurer's, specialist insurers, etc etc, spent a days worth on phone to companies. Best quote on a R34 GTT standard, on a 98 R plate, with value of £10k was:
£895 + £500 excess + restricted to 6k miles per year
on the GTR, add another £500 (plus garage needed or secure gates to address)
on the merc's, same value, same year or earlier, £510 + £200 excess
I'll get there soon...... :)

Hi lads. is eny one meeting at cardiff gate for a meet today! if so will be down,
