bren

We will very soon be offering some new cheap induction components.

We have Apex induction kits based around the highly effective Apexi induction filter, Apex induction boxes and Apex induction sets (filter and box kit).

The boxes are made from stainless and are stamped out of a flat piece of material meaning they are very high quality with perfectly defined edges and centre cut out.

The induction kits come complete with all nuts, bolts, washers, brackets and genuine Apexi gaskets.

The only kit that might pose a problem is the Hybrid.

Any plans to make a box to fit with the Z32AFM? :) I guess there's a few people that will be going this route now that Jez has stage3 sorted...

You can fit our box with a Z32. Im not sure how much messing about is needed but it can be done. Ill let you know how much messing around, if any, id needed next week when we get the next batch of boxes through and Ive fitrted one to our drift car :)

Cool - cheers. I guess you will need to hack bits off it to make it fit with a hybrid IC tho?

Bren

I ordered an Apexi induction kit amongst the bit last week. Any chance you can put your full kit in instead - including box. I reckon that should leave me owing you about a tenner, which you can take on the card.

Cheers

The cone of the Apexi kit is AFAIK the same for Z32 and S14, so it will be a matter of a bit of jigery pokery with the AFM and redrilling the box for the larger PCD of the Z32 AFM.

The induction boxes are all ready with the suppliers. I want the adapter that joins the afm to the filter in alloy rather than stainless so the suppliers are remanufacturing the batch for me. Theyre nearly done now.

We had a batch of stainless adapters ready to go but theyre heavy so Ive asked the suppliers to make them in alloy. They have sorted the prototype and are sending it to me for evaluation.

I will run a group buy but dont know when it will be.

This post was just a heads up to progress on new products, not a sales thread  I think we can do better on the adapter so its going to take longer to sort the filter kits. I could have just gone with the original stainless adapters and not p1ssed off our manufacturers but I chose to delay everything, wind up the suppliers (not on purpose of course) and go with what I think will be an item better suited to the job.

I will take my time on this and future new products after letting the latest S13 and S14 intercoolers go before they were fully sorted which left me in a load of sh1t going back through and sending bits out to complete the kits. These kits will be fully sorted to my 110% satisfaction before we let them go

That means I dont have a due date  They are coming and we will be doing them, of that there is no doubt. The due date is something different.

I have a cuple fo sampels of the new adapter plates that I commissioned. Theyre superb, very light, just waht I wanted :)

Theyre not as bling as the others but theyre much better suited to the job. Ive approved them with the manufacturer and theyre arranging shipping for the batch now.

I think you will be very impressed, I am very pleased with myself

Hi Bren, would the full kit fit onto my S15?? AND the Z32 afm??

Cheers

bren

You need a Z32 filter for the Z32 afm, theyre £45.50.

The induction box should fit but itll be tight.

The gb price will be around £115 for the box and kit :)
