Just to let all you guys (and gals!) know that this Sunday (14th) the skyline owners forum have a Cardiff meet going on. We are meeting up in Cardiff Ikea first then going on to other places. Some of us are meeting up in varioous places enroute to the meet.
I dont know if this is how you link a thread as all I know is that you copy and paste a certain thing so here goes, (if not please just visit the site as I am stupid :) )

Was a good meet - nice to meet the local skyline guys and gals.
Particularly enjoyed the ride around town, especially the tunnels... oh the noise the noise - i couldnt even hear my own engine it was drownd out by 3 skylines on chat :D pity i was the only 200sx that managed to keep up :)

God knows, but there was me, smart looking S14 Drift Torque car, R34 and an S13 tooting down onto Newport Rd and then past TGI's , i ran out of fuel, used a qtr fuel from leaving Ikea, :wack: !!!!!
And yeah, Sainsburys 91.9 for Super :)
DAM GOOD MEET UP, good to see 200's and Skylines in the same place, had lots of people looking as they drove by :)

I had to pull over as I had issues straight after leaving Ikea car park.. Think a plug is fouled up. Car was kangarooing like a bitch so had to try to sort that out.

Kinda. Got it running reasonably at cruising speed (between 3-4k rpm) so it got me home but its still pretty horrible at low rpm. Didn't have the energy today to investigate much further.

Yep sure was great to meet everyone. We were also wondering where everyone was. Went through tunnels, lost most people so went back to Ikea to see if anyone was there. No luck so went for a spin through town. I had to leave then but I dont know where everyone else went to after. Last saw them going towards A470 for a spin. Will find out later. Of course, we didnt have any contact numbers for anyone so we could not get in touch so may be a good idea to collect a few numbers for next time. :) Hope to see you again soon, will hopefully have the yellow skyline on the road from Monday so I will be a happy bunny once again.

It was a good meet, was great to see that many Jap cars assembled in one place with out it being a show. We, us Skyline owners, were pleasantly surprised with your SX turnout, double thumbs up for that :thumbs: :thumbs: . After doing the runs through the tunnels (I think I clocked 120mph on the first run through :rolleyes: ) Was hard to keep up with Gareths white R34 and especially hard to get the gearchanges right as I couldn't hear my car over Gareths screamer pipe and flames popping! After doing the runs through the tunnels we went back to Ikea to see if anyone else was there but no one appart from Gayle in here GTS-t was there. So we decided to head for the city centre to annoy some chav and chavettes. Even had two French (I think they were French, they were deffinately foreign) kids look at the three Skylines lined up in a row near the castle babble something in foreign but I managed to catch the "ah Skylines" at the end.. :wave: After that we headed back up towards the M4 and four of us parked up in a pub carpark, had a drink and a chat then we all went our seperate ways. Hope this one was the first of many mixed Jap meets, I enjoyed it. Just hope my car is a bit more on song next time. :whip:

What the hell has he fitted to that !! sounded bonkers at the lights ?? some kind of antilag ?
Was nice to meet up and have a look at something other than a 200 for a change lol

You've deffinately got a great looking Silvia mate, shame about the water spray in the engine bay eh ;) I've come to the conclusion that when I've sorted my crappy idle and misfiring cylinder out then I'll have to buy a de-cat pipe and exhaust.. I can't be quieter than SX's! ;) :wave:
