Someone at work is chopping in their T5 for this. I think that's a mistake (performance wise).

Another lardy Merc, they really need a Supercharger to make 'em go, on the plus side though, at least you get RWD :)

Anything that needs the moniker "Sport" to distinguish it from lesser types is probably not worth the effort....

I also belive that the "E" stands for Economy :rolleyes: - reduced trim level.

Girfriends uncle's got an E320 avantagarde thingy and it fukin flies

and it a bloody diesel!!!!

Its a 3.5 litre v6 though - supercharged AND turbocharged.

Nice, but still a poncy car.

Not fogetting neon washer jets, single wiper conversion (wtf's that all about:confused: ) and those lovely bits of masking tape over the headlights to give you that genuine w@nker look :D

PS, don't forget Goodmans and Matsui make the best car stereos :cool:

Apparantly it eliminates turbo lag.

You get supercharged performance for the fisrt 2000rpm then the turbo kicks in. Rather than bugger all for the first 2000 rpm then WOOSH..

If I'm talking bollox though someone please correct me.

E320 is a 3.2 Straight 6 Turbodiesel.

195BHP and 470NM(1800-2600rpm) DaimlerChrysler Official Figures

0-60 8.3 Top Speed 143.

Avantgarde is just the trim level I believe. You get Classic, Elegance and Avantgarde.

I followed one of these once. The guy was giving it some but it was a bit puny compared to a 2***** :)

He was also a wuss on the bendy bits. Dunno if that's because of the lardiness of the Merc or not.
