Hi, I whacked a thread up in the S14 tech section and was pointed over here. Basically I have a new powerFC running on the standard map which needs mapping. The car also needs an MOT so it would be great if the car could be tuned up to pass the MOT (emissions) that way I could kill two birds with one stone.
Any chance of this being possible?

Gary, sorry I haven't phoned you yet mate. Last minute sodding about with insurance and things
I know all cars and circumstances are different but roughly how much is it gonna cost for mapping? I don't really know anyting about this sort of thing so I don't want to book the car in and then not have enough moola put aside to do everything properly:)

Hi guys,
Just a quick question if you please? I have booked the car in with you for 3rd Sep (mapping, MOT, etc etc). I looked at multimap and it looks like its a 125 mile drive to you. Will I be able to do this even though the car is running on the powerFC base map or do I need to find somewhere a little closer to take the car for mapping
I don't want to kill the car in an attempt to get it to you. :)

The car will be absolutely fine on the base map for that kind of journey.

Another question if you please?
I think I will need a four wheel alignment done as I have put the coilovers and the adjustable rear arms on. Can this be done there? Also I might need new tyres (probably do) so if I do could the wheels be refurbed (in white) :D
Yeah I know that we two questions.....

Cool, I'm gonna phone you guys up tomorrow just to confirm getting the car to you on Saturday. So we can sort out things like that then, thought I would ask as I really want to get it all sorted at once and get the thing sort of back on the road. Still need to sort the body work out but its not so bad it can't wait.
Thanks Gary

Hi Gary,
Nice meeting you yesterday, sorry it was a little later than planned and such a brief visit. Thanks for the help with the PowerFC glitch (yes another one  ).
Did you or any of the guys fly past the texaco services on the A11 (near Norwich) in that awesome R32 at around 5:30? Sounded bloody amazing! :D
I think my brother, the big bloke that came with me, is now desperately looking for a way to get an S13 (he liked the look of yours).
Thanks again!
See you soon
